Production on the 5 spot TV campaign for Sleepy's began in April with director Sam Crawford from Traveling Picture Show at the helm. The spots were conceived by Hal Tench and John Mahoney of Richmond based ad agency Spike Communications, and were filmed in Los Angeles and Chicago. Production and Post teams were led by Agency Producer Virginia Bertholet.
"Supermarket", the first of the five 30 second TV spots to air, was cut by editor Anne Decourte out of Mad Box. Post supervisor Chris Williams and post producer Macy West have been guiding the campaign through editorial, visual effects and finishing to prepare the spots for their roll out over the next six months. The visual effects team is being led by Dan Walden and Charles Bevan and Mad Box's colorist, Matt West, has been at the controls of the Da Vinci providing the spots' final looks.
