Mad Box was born from the ideas of two filmmakers. It’s what drove us to do what we do. Our growth has provided us with a wonderful roster of clients and some great work that we love to show off. We are lucky to have also kept a foothold into our dreams and passions, by helping other filmmakers realize their dreams and bring their movies to an audience. Since our first film, we have proven more than a dozen time that we can deliver films to market, and we hope that helps relieve some of the anxious uncertainty that many first time and indie filmmakers have when it comes to finishing their movies.
In the summer of 2015, director Jai Jamison, approached Mad Box to handle the editorial and finishing of his first feature length film, “TRI”. “TRI” is a film about Natalie, an ultrasound tech with a history of not finishing things, who is inspired by a cancer patient to sign up for a Triathlon. Natalie is introduced to the strange (and aerodynamic) world of triathletes and meets a colorful cast of characters as she trains for the Nation’s Triathlon. With the support of her new teammates, she digs deep to discover just how far she can push her mind and body.
The film was cut by Mad Box’s Chris Allen Williams who was assisted by Logan Threlkeld. The Trailer was launched early for sales purposes, but currently the audio is being mixed and designed by Red Amp Audio’s Andrew Uvarov and will be color graded by Mad Box co-owner and colorist Matt West.
